This Privacy Policy describes the processing of Personal Information (as the term is under applicable privacy protection laws) that clients submit to us and we collect on behalf of our clients. This policy also covers Personal Information that Ripple Effect Strategies LLC (“Ripple On Impact”) collects directly or that otherwise becomes available to Ripple On Impact in connection with the use of our service by our clients and prospective clients and other users of our on- and off-line service platform.

This Privacy Policy also is incorporated to our Terms of Service and our other agreements between our clients and Ripple On Impact, which governs how Personal Information submitted by the clients, their service providers, and other third-parties. This Privacy Policy describes how Personal Information is processed by Ripple On Impact on behalf of our clients. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand the practices that Ripple On Impact applies regarding processing of Personal Information.

Ripple On Impact has drafted this Privacy Policy in cooperation with its legal advisers in accordance with the requirements of applicable privacy laws in effect at the time of drafting this Privacy Policy. Ripple On Impact does its best to ensure that the processing of Personal Information is performed in accordance with the instructions of our clients, our clients rights to use Personal Information, and in compliance with applicable legal requirements.

  1. Personal Information and Reason for Ripple On Impact Processes. 

For the purpose of provisioning our Services, Ripple On Impact processes the Personal Information that the clients provide about their own clients or contacts, and who are the recipients or the ultimate beneficiaries of the Services. The Processing of personal information will depend on the decision of the clients on how they want to use the Services and generally include the name, phone telephone number, but may also include emails and physical addresses.

Ripple On Impact works closely with third parties (including, for example, business partners, sub-contractors in technical, payment, and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers, credit reference agencies) and may receive Personal Information from them.

Ripple On Impact sends messages to the clients by electronic means (email, SMS or MMS) in order to provide them with information at direction of our client according to their use of the Services, their promotions and proposals, and developments (direct marketing). Ripple On Impact provides messaging services to the contact details provided by representatives of the clients, which are controlled by, and may be updated by or on behalf of the client from time to time. The clients are responsible to ensure that contact details provided by the client or by the client’s representatives are at all times accurate and up-to-date. The clients may opt-out or unsubscribe from the Services by replying or responding as prompted by the messaging platforms.

  1. Legal Basis for Processing Personal Information

Ripple On Impact processes Personal Information in accordance with the laws of the location of Ripple On Impact and its affiliates, where the processing of Personal Information is conducted. Ripple On Impact processes Personal Information submitted to it by the clients based on the contracts with the clients for the purpose of using the Services and to the extent that this data is provided by the clients.

Clients confirm and are fully responsible for the processing of Personal Information that they submit to Ripple On Impact, and guarantee to Ripple On Impact explicitly that the clients have all the necessary consents and/or other legal grounds from data subjects for lawful processing of their Personal Information in accordance with this Policy.

When using Services for direct marketing, the clients are responsible for complying with all the legal requirements in connection with direct marketing and data subjects’ rights. Ripple On Impactxf is only providing the platform for sending messages, but the clients are solely responsible for the content of messages sent using the Services. The clients understand that there are different legal rules for direct marketing in different countries. When the Services are used for direct marketing, the clients must comply with all requirements for direct marketing of the country, where the receiver of the direct marketing message is residing.

By virtue of this clause, the clients are duly informed and expressly authorize, totally or partially, to use the corresponding Third-Party service providers and provide Personal Information to them, as it may be required. 

Ripple On Impact shall inform the clients of any intended changes concerning the addition or replacement of Third-Party processors and give the clients the opportunity to object to such changes. Ripple On Impact has the right to stop providing Services to the clients, who object to the change concerning the addition or replacement of processors.

Ripple On Impact has entered into individual service provision contracts with some of the service providers. With others, the relationships are based on the general terms of service of these service providers. Prior to entering into relationships with third-party service providers, Ripple On Impact makes its best efforts to guarantee that the terms of processing of Personal Information of its partners are in accordance with the principles of this Privacy Policy and applicable laws. For this purpose, Ripple On Impact shall carefully review the terms of processing of Personal Information by its partners. Furthermore, Ripple On Impact carefully screens the ongoing relationships with Third-Party service providers and in case of their non-compliance shall immediately remediate the non-compliance or terminate the relationship.

We will retain your information for as long as a client’s account is active or as needed to provide services to our clients. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

We may review and amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. Therefore, Ripple On Impact advises to periodically review the Privacy Policy in the case of any changes to it. Continued use of our services means you consent our continued processing to any such changes. If the client or other users do not agree with any or all terms of this Privacy Policy or any possible changes to it, then they should immediately cease using our Services.

You may opt out of receiving updates and newsletters by email by following the instructions in those emails, and you may opt out of receiving SMS alerts by texting STOP at any time.
